Porchside Veterinary Care is looking for a part-time or full-time licensed veterinary technician. Experience is preferred, however, new graduates are encouraged to apply!
We are a small animal practice that is well integrated into the Dresden, Maine community. We have a small, cohesive staff that provides personal attention to our patients and clients every day. Our practice uses Covetrus Pulse Software Management, In House Idexx Analyzers and Fovea Digital Radiography. Our new staff member will need to be comfortable assisting with patient handling, appointments, processing lab samples and performing anesthetic monitoring. The position may also include assisting with dentistry procedures and performing radiographs. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with client communication and accurate record keeping. Since we have such a small staff, everyone assists with phone calls, emails and front desk responsibilities. All staff members help to ensure that the clinic is clean and welcoming.
